Department of Immigration has said that they are going to issue the employment approval for expatriates arriving in the Maldives.

Immigration said that if all the documents are present when the employment approval form is filed for the expatriates arriving in the country for the first time, it is going to be approved within 48 hours. And even if the documents are missing, an answer will be given within 48 hours.

While the new change is in effect from today, Immigration said that the change is to improve the quality of service provided to the public.

And so the the department of immigration requests that all the required documents are submitted when requesting employment approval.
