SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC) has put a temporary halt to applications in certain loan categories.

An announcement by SDFC noted that they have put a pause on accepting applications to certain categories, as there are certain year-end works that needs to be finalized and to increase the quality of their service.

They further revealed that the applications will re-open on January 31st. However, applications are still open for three categories of loans. These are the Dhanduveri Nafaa, KanduFalhuge Nafaa and to establish freezing systems from salt water for fishes.

SDFC further noted that any applications that have been submitted will still be processed.

SDFC was established as a specialized financial institution providing financial products and ancillary services to MSMEs and entrepreneurial start-ups with the primary purpose of easing access to finance for MSMEs.
