Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) signs agreements with Ministry of National Planning, Housing , and Infrastructure on HDh Finey and M. Muli Harbour Project and Rasmaadhoo Shore Protection Project.

The agreements were signed on behalf of MTCC by CEO Adam Azim and DG of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure Ministry, Fathimath Shaana Farooq.

Finey Harbour Project is valued at MVR 47.26 million to be completed within 405 days.

Scope of work for the project will include excavation and dredging of 5,848.05m, dredging and excavation of 35,484,26m area for new harbour basin, and dredging and excavation of 5,848.05m area for harbour entrance, 248m breakwater construction, 82m revetment, and 25m groyne construction, a 2,198.65m harbour pavement and ramp and access platform for RTL ferry as well as installation of harbour lights.

Muli Harbour Project is valued at MVR 65.55 million to be completed within 550 days.

Scope of work for the project will include excavation and dredging of 33,888m,area for new harbour basin, dredging and excavation of 6,254m area for harbour entrance, construction of 465.48m breakwater, 89.74m revetment, and installation of a 2,370m harbour pavement, ramp and access platform for RTL ferry as well as installation of harbour lights.

Rasmaadhoo Shore Protection Project is valued at MVR 17.88 million to be completed within 210 days.

Scope of work for the project include a 157m revetment, 283m groyne, and shore protection works on 2,500m.
