President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said that the bid for Naifaru housing units will be opened this week.
The President said this while speaking at a campaign event of Parliamentary hopeful for Naifaru constituency on an MDP ticket, Mohamed Kaarim.
He said that the biggest issue faced by the people of Lhaviyani Naifaru is the issue of housing. As such, he noted that a bid for the construction of 100 housing units will be opened within this week.
President Solih noted that land reclamation in Naifaru had been a campaign pledge in the Presidential elections. He said therefore, that this pledge will be fulfilled within the next five years of his term. He noted that road constructions will also commence shortly after the work on water and sewage systems of the island are completed.
The President noted in his speech that the changes needed by citizens can be brought on by supporting Maldivian Democratic Party’s (MDP) Parliamentary campaign policy, Agenda ‘19.
As such, the President endorsed the support and urged to vote for MDP’s Parliamentary candidate Mohamed Kaarim.
