Ministry of Education has revealed that the government will provide financial assistance to pursue higher secondary education in private schools, for students who don't get entry into Center for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE).

In a message shared with the media on Thursday night, the Ministry noted that the government will provide financial assistance to pursue higher secondary education at private schools for students who are unable to get entry into CHSE, despite meeting their entry requirements.

Financial assistance will be provided for students who apply for it. If the student had studied in any of the schools in the Greater Malé Area, the student will receive financial assistance.

When One Online contacted the Media Officer at the Ministry, they noted that no further information could be shared with the media at the moment.
