An RO machine has been established in AA. Bodufolhudhoo School under Bank of Maldives (BML) community fund.
BML said the project aims to provide safe drinking water for students and staff. As such, a commercial RO machine and water dispenser has been placed within the school to allow easy access to water.
“This project will benefit 186 students, teachers, staff and those visiting the school with easy access to safe drinking water. We hope this project will change the way people think to support a more sustainable environment,” Musthafa Ahmed from Revolutionary Bodufolhudhoo Generation - who submitted the winning proposal - said
The organisation also donated reusable bottles to all the students and staff as part of the project. The organisation will also do routine checks and maintenance on the machine, filters, and water dispenser.
