While a pedestrian carrying cash had been attacked and mugged by helmet clad perpetrators, Maldives Police Service has arrested four suspects regarding the case.  

Police said that they arrested involve two 23-year-old men and two juveniles. According to current information, the incident that took place near State Bank of India at around 9:53 am resulted in theft of MVR 2،377،881.99.

Maldives Police Service informed that the pedestrian had been attacked by four helmet clad perpetrators and injured during the incident. The victim of the incident is reportedly a Maldivian national.
