Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has handed over the "Aero Residency" apartment unites to their employees, which were developed under the Hiyaa Project.
The keys to the apartment units were handed over to the employees by the Minister of Housing, Mohamed Aslam, during a special ceremony held at the location on Saturday.
MACL Managing Director, Mahjoob Shujau also took part in the ceremony.
The apartments were developed in two towers, built on a 24,000 sqft land handed over to MACL by the government. Finishing works on these apartments were also completed before handing over.
MACL noted that the rent for these apartments could be spread out for over 20 years, though they had not revealed what the monthly rent will be.
