President of Jumhooree Party (JP), and Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed has said that he will not forget those that sacrificed a lot in the effort for reform and go along with the philosophies of PPM and PNC.

Ali Waheed has said this at a time where leader of JP and Speaker of Parliament Qasim Ibrahim had made comments siding with opposition PPM and PNC’s political stance and taken to criticizing the government. The President of JP Ali Waheed took to twitter and expressed his opinion on the matter. The Master of Tourism said that he has taken an oath of sincere loyalty to the citizens, country, and President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

He noted the parties of the government coalition that sacrificed to bring about reform and said that he will not side with opposition parties, People’s National Congress (PNC) and Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM). Minister Ali Waheed noted the sacrifices of Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), Jumhooree Party (JP), Adhaalath Party as well as members who support former President Maumoon at Maldives Reform Movement (MRM). He said that he will remain steadfast in the defense of the government.

While Ali Waheed has said this as the President of JP, Deputy leader of JP, and Minister of Environment Dr. Hussain Rasheed Hassan has said that members of JP should not vote for PPM or PNC members.
