Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has stated that GST and Income Tax defaulters will be publicised.

MIRA released a statement on Tuesday stating that MIRA will be publicising the list of GST, Green Tax, and Withholding Tax defaulters for the taxable period of last year.

Additionally, MIRA stated that Income Tax defaulters list will be publicised in October of this year.

"We urge the tax defaulters and those who have not submitted their income tax returns to pay their taxes and submit their returns to this Authority before October", MIRA said.

MIRA said that tax inquiries can be made at their 1415 hotline or on Viber via 9821415.
