The seventh edition of the Maldives Marin Expo has commenced on Thursday.

The expo was inaugurated by Tourism Minister, Mausoom, and President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih visited the expo on Thursday.

The expo - organised by National Boating Association of Maldives (NBAM) - is the only expo in Maldives catered to the marine field. Among the 50 participants in the expo are safari, yacht, fisheries and sea sports businesses as well as logistics and marine food businesses.

The main sponsor for this year's Marine Expo is Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), with Gulf Craft and Jalboot as co-sponsors.

The expo is open for public from 1600hrs to 2200hrs until Saturday.
