Ministry of Islamic Affairs has announced that Eid Prayers will be held in congregation on Eid Al-Adha.

Islamic Ministry said on Wednesday that the Eid prayer congregation will be at Maafannu Stadium in Male'. In Hulhumale', the prayer congregation will be at the synthetic track and Vilimale' prayer congregation will be at the football stadium.

The Ministry urged the public to perform ablution beforehand, and to carry their own water bottle as well as a non-plastic bag to put their slippers in.

The Ministry added that if the weather is bad, the Eid prayers will be held in mosques.

Eid Al-Adha falls on Saturday, 9 July this year.
