Maldives Meteorology (MET) has revealed that the Southwest Monsoon has enhanced, and advised all to be cautious of possible bad weather over the weekend.

In a tweet, MET revealed that due to the enhancement of southwest monsoon activity in the region, scattered showers with thunderstorms and heavy showers are expected across the country over the next 72 hours. Additionally strong average winds and subsequent rough seas are expected, especially in the north and central areas.
