Adeeb tests positive for Covid-19

Former Vice President and President of Maldives Third-Way Democrats (MTD) Ahmed Adeeb has tested positive to Covid-19.

A tweet by MTD confirmed that Adeeb had tested positive for Covid-19 after tests taken at the IGMH Flu Clinic, as he went there after feeling ill.

The party noted that Adeeb is seeking treatment for various illnesses and is a high-risk patient of Covid-19.

Adeeb was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the MMPRC Corruption Scandal, though he was later changed to house arrest due to poor health.
