President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed attended the banquet hosted by The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall for the Commonwealth heads of delegations on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II on Friday.

President Solih is on an official visit to Rwanda to attend the 26th Commonwealth Head of Governments Meeting (CHOGM).

The CHOGM is taking place after a two-year delay due to Covid-19, and the first since the Maldives joined Commonwealth network again on February 1, 2020.

The President is accompanied on this trip by First Lady Fazna and a high-level delegation from Maldives.
