Former finance minister, Dr. Inaz has been appointed as the Pension Office Chairperson.

Dr. Inaz's appointment follows former chairperson Athena Ali's term completion. The eight-member board at Pension Office is appointed for a term of 3 years.

Dr. Inaz also serves on the board of Amana Takaful as the Independent Director.

He has also served at Central Bank, Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA), as well as the Finance Minister and National Trade Policy Coordinator for World Trade Organisation (WTO). He also serves as the Deputy Minister at Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
