National Airline, Maldivian, mandates masks on international flights.

The new mandate by the airline follows HPA's cautionary advice regarding increased number of Covid-19 cases in Maldives.

Speaking to 'One', Public Relations Executive at Maldivian, Mushil Sobah, said masks are mandatory on international flights and that the mask requirement is mandated by countries the airline flies to.

HPA revealed on Monday that a total 142 positive cases were reported last week. HPA has urged the public to practice caution to slow the spread.
