Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has completed the V. Rakeedhoo Coastal Protection Project.

MTCC said the project was completed on 25th May 2022.

Scope of work for the project include construction of a 40m groyne and a 200m breakwater. The swimming area works included dredging operations of 560cbm, construction of a 20m groyne and a 25m revetment.

The project is valued at MVR 10.1 million.
