Maldives Customs Service (MCS) will train customs officers under Indian Aid.
The training program to be held from 6 June to 1 July in Mumbai will be attended by 30 customs officers from Maldives.
Indian High Commission in Maldives said on Thursday that the induction training by National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes, and Narcotics (NACIN) will provide additional skill sets to the customs officers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy High Commissioner Rohit Ritesh said that the MSC officers have partaken in all the NACIN induction programs held in Mumbai to date.
As such, a 100 MCS officers have attended the induction and training program in Mumbai, Rohit said.
