Telecom giant Dhiraagu has opened application for Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program's 2022 intake.
The Apprenticeship Program is part of the company's CSR initiative to empower youth through structured educational training, Dhiraagu said. The program also focuses on enhancing work skills in youth as well as familiarising them with the corporate work environment.
Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program is open in Male', B. Eydhafushi, Fuvahmulah City, Laamu Atoll, and Kulhudhuffushi City this year. Applicants between the ages 18 and 30 with an A-Level qualification are eligible for the program if they are not employed in a full-time job.
The program will be a great learning opportunity for applicants to gain experience and training in fields such as administration, stores and procurement, corporate services, financial accounting, credit control and collections, mobile radio networks, market research and analysis as well as marketing communications and public relations among other fields, Dhiraagu said.
Interested applicants can drop by Dhiraagu Head Office on 9 June between 1400 hours to 1600 hours for walk-in interviews.
Dhiraagu launched the Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program in 2009 and have trained 228 apprentices to date, of which several are working with the telecom giant at present.
