One of the biggest private colleges in Maldives, Avid College, has received permit from International Aviation Transport Association (IATA) as an authorised training centre.

Avid College received the certification from IATA on Monday at a ceremony held at Avid College's Diamond Campus.

The certificate was awarded to Avid College by IATA's Regional Training Business Development Manager Lokesh Matta. Chairman Abdulla Mushtaq Rashad received the certificate on behalf of Avid College.

An official from Avid College told 'One' that with the certification, Avid College will now begin offering IATA courses including aviation, travel and tourism in the near future.
