Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has mobilised the project site for R. Maakurathu Harbour Development Project.

MTCC stated that the material needed for the project was delivered to the project site on 20 May.

Scope of work for the project include 45,024cbm of harbour dredging operations, construction of a 140m breakwater, a 129m quay wall, a 85m revetment, a 28m groyne, and installation of 641sqm pavement.

The project is valued at MVR 26.67 million.
