Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has started a career expo for school students.

MACL revealed that the expo aims to provide important information for students who desire career opportunities in the aviation sector and Velana International Airport (VIA). During the expo, students were briefed on what subjects in grade school would help them pursue aviation sector careers.

In addition to this, students were also informed about various functions of how MACL operates at VIA. A large portion of this included explanations of the operations and functions of Terminal Services, Passenger Services, Commercial, Ramp, Airport Emergency Services, and Air Traffic Control.

Thirty-eight students from Thaajuddeen School and Billabong High International School participated in the first session of the career expo.
