Maldives National Party (MNP) has stated that it would be impossible to win any future elections in the Maldives without them.
Dhangethi MP and MNP President, Colonel (Rtd.) Mohamed Nazim on Sunday stated that they are satisfied and happy with the results of all the elections that they have competed in so far.
MP Nazim further highlighted that the next election would be in July when four islands will hold elections for their Women's Development Committee (WDC). He noted that the party would compete in all four elections.
He stressed that one of their biggest successes is being able to compete in every election since their inception and competing with parties like PPM who are among the biggest parties in the country. As such he noted that PPM recently won the by-election of Villimale' WDC with the difference of just a single vote, and that Komanddoo By-Election results depending on which side the party backed.
