Naba Nishan has won the championship of All India Tennis Association's "Champions Series Tennis Tournament” held in Bengaluru, India.

The final match for the Under 14 category was held this morning, where Naba faced India's Archisa Gosh, and emerged as the champion of the tournament.

12-year-old Naba beat 14-year-old Archisa with a 4-6, 2-6 victory.

Naba is the daughter of Chief Surgical Officer at ADK, Dr. Ahmed Nishan and Women's Specialty Dr. Nazma Hameed.

Naba has also won several tournaments in the Maldives. She had also recently won the Best Female Tennis Player award at the Maldives Sports Awards.

Naba is currently living in Bangalore with her mother Dr Nazma, in order to train better in her sport.
