The Baa Atoll Hithaadhoo harbour project has been mobilised to begin Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said.

MTCC was contracted with the project in November 2021.

Scope of the project include 19,030cbm dredging and excavation project for the harbour, construction of a 22m groyne, a 495m breakwater, a 90m revetment, a 350m quay wall, installation of a 1750sqm harbor pavement, navigational aids and harbor lights.

The project is valued at MVR 17.7 million.
