Male' Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has said that the water and sewerage project at Baa Atoll Kendhoo is moving forward rapidly.
Speaking of the project progress MWSC said that work is ongoing to install water network pipes and that the material needed for the project have been delivered to the work site.
Scope of the water network project include installing a 5.26m water pipe network, building RO facility, building two RO plants, and three tanks to store water as well as installing water meters in households.
The sewerage project entails installing a 4.88m network, a 556m pumping line, two pumping stations and a sea outflow along with connecting houses to the network.
MWSC said that they are also providing the generator sets, vehicles and the equipment to test the water.
The project was contracted to MWSC by Planning Ministry and is valued at MVR 56.42 million.
