An elderly man has died while performing Umrah.

Saeed Yoosuf, 71, from Raa. Meedhoo travelled to Saudi Arabia for Umrah with Zamzam Hajj and Umrah Travel.

Zamzam group stated that Saeed died while receiving treatment at King Faisal hospital in Mecca. However, the cause of death is not clear as of yet.

Speaking to 'One', Raa. Meedhoo council president, Hassan Shareef, stated that Saeed went to Umrah accompanied by family members. The council, however, does not know when Saeed travelled for Umrah or the cause of death, Shareef added.
