President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has stated that his administration has not deterred from investigating the terror attack on former president and Parliament Speaker Mohamed Nasheed.

President Solih tweeted about the attack, stating that the government remains steadfast in their work to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Meanwhile, Nasheed's family has raised concerns over the delays in establishing justice for the former president.

The family released a statement noting that while some suspects were arrested and charged, the state has failed to focus on the actual perpetrators behind the attack. The statement called on authorities to investigate and identify those who financed the attack on Nasheed.

Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Eva Abdulla, also tweeted her statement, stating that delays in the trials of the accused undermine Nasheed's ability to carry out his duties as Parliament Speaker and and leader of MDP.
