Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has delivered the first shipment of rock boulders for R. Kinolhas harbour project to the site.

MTCC stated that work is ongoing to dredge the harbour basin.

MTCC was awarded the harbour development project valued at MVR 45.1 million in October 2021.

Scope of work for this project include dredging and excavation operations, a 162m groin, a 285m breakwater, a 65m revetment, a 1,663.36m pavement and installation of harbour lights.
