HDC: Parking slots will be allocated to highest bidder

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has stated that parking slots will be allocated to highest bidders.

HDC on Wednesday stated they will open bidding for 50 parking slots from Fithuroanu parking near ferry terminal, and 20 slots from Unima parking near Redwave Mega Mall.

The 70 parking slots for car parking will be offered to the highest bidders for a period of 3 months. Bidding will start at MVR 1,500, HDC stated on Thursday.

HDC added that the introduction of smart parking in Hulhumale' will provide ease to the residents and contribute to creating a safer space.
