State Insurance Provider Aasandha has revoked eases allowed during the Covid-19 pandemic.

As such, online consultations will be available only from facilities that provide services through the 'Vinavi' portal. Additional services for patients taking online consultations will only be provided if request has been made via 'Vinavi' portal.

Patients on long-term care were previously allowed to fill prescriptions twice. However, with the new rollout of changes, patients can only fill a prescription once.

Additionally, Aasandha will only accept e-prescriptions.

Aasandha also stated that insurance services will now be provided upon submission of the original or copy of national ID card or passport.
