Male' City Council has revealed that they are planning to hold a special night market in time for Ramadan.

As per an announcement by the council, they will organize the special night market to provide goods and services at an affordable rate ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. They added that this will also be helpful for Small and Medium Enterprises.

Even though only 13 days remain for the start of Ramadan, the council has not publicized any information regarding the venue or the dates of the night market.

However, they have issued an announcement seeking 100 tents for the night market.

While the covid-19 safety measures have been eased in the Maldives, Health Protection Agency (HPA) has given the permission to hold fairs, night markets and such events.
