MTCC completes harbor basin dredging operations for Himmafushi Harbor Project

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that they have completed installation of blocks required for quay wall and new harbor basin dredging operations for K. Himmafushi Harbor Development Project (phase 2).

Quay wall concrete works are currently ongoing according to the company.

Scope of works include, dredging and excavation operations of 14,300cbm for new harbor basin, construction of a 38m breakwater, a 248m revetment, 172m quay wall and installation of navigational aids.

The value of the project is MVR 25.88 million.
