Another 310 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 310 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 151,319 with another 15,871 people still in treatment including 29 people in hospitals.
In the same time frame, 45 people tested positive in the Male' area along with 862 from the atolls, 43 from the resorts.
There have been 293 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 274 locals, 19 foreign nationals. Maldives reported its first COVID-19 related death on 29 April 2020 following the death of an 83-year-old woman.
