Ten people are being treated at a hospital after a fire incident at a resident house in the Henveiru district of Male' City.

MNDF said that the fire incident was reported at 8:55 a.m. and the Fire and Rescue Service dispatched to the scene to control the fire.

A total of ten people were taken to Senahiya Hospital due to smoke inhalation from the fire. There has been no update on their condition so far.

A fire incident took place in the same area as well yesterday but no one was injured.
