Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that the 5th shipment of rock boulders required for Ha. Hoarafushi Airport Shore Protection have been delivered to the project site on 19th February 2022.

Scope of works for the project include; coastal protection and construction of a concrete culvert on the causeway which connects from Hoarafushi to the Airport.

MTCC began working on the project on June 26 in 2021.

The value of the project is MVR 90.5 million.
