Banking of Maldives PLC (BML) has opened an ATM center in Laamu Atoll Maamendhoo for self-service banking as continues to scale up its presence in Laamu Atoll.

The bank said that in addition to the cash withdrawal facilities, the new Center will support individuals and businesses to deposit and transfer money on a 24/7 basis.

In a statement issued by BML today, CEO and Managing Director Tim Sawyer said that this centre in Maamendhoo will benefit individuals and businesses in the community and ensure convenient and accessible banking services without the need to travel to a nearby branch.

"As part of our financial inclusion strategy, we will continue to invest in expanding banking services to islands across Maldives." He said.

Laamu Atoll also has a branch and Self-Service Banking in Fonadhoo and Gan as well as a Self-Service Banking ATM Center in Maavah.

BML has a nationwide network of 35 branches across all 20 atolls, 78 Self-Service Banking Centres, 136 ATMs, over 200 agents and a full suite of Digital Banking services. In the statement today, the bank reiterated its commitment to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across Maldives.
