Azim: MTCC goal for this year is 300 million profit

CEO of the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), Adam Azim has said that the goal for his company this to make MVR 300 million on profit.

Speaking on Raajje TV's "Falasurukhee" program last night, Azim said that the current administration nhas increased the capabilities of MTCC and now the company can run over a 100 projects simultaneously.

Highlighting that the MTCC staff has doubled, Azim said that the company profit has been increasing annually as well and last year saw a record high.

Azim said that the highest priority for the MTCC currently is to train staff and so has been providing higher education opportunities. He said that MVR 150 million has been allocated for training.

He said that it would not take long for MTCC to move towards international projects and for that purpose, they need trained employees.

Last year, MTCC generated MVR 264 million in profit.
