Maldives Trading and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that R. Dhuvaafaru Land Reclamation and Shore Protection Project is well underway, with overall 50% project progress.

They revealed that the third shipment of rock boulders required for project works have been delivered to the project site.

The R. Dhuvaafaru Land Reclamation and Shore Protection project consists of dredging and reclamation operations of 22.2 hectares; 423m rock boulder revetment construction and 315m breakwater construction.

The value of the project is MVR 143.1 million.
