State Trading Organization (STO) has raised the price of petrol and diesel yet again.

Last night, the company said that the fuel price are higher again since the prices are soaring uncontrollably on the international market. And so, the price they get for the oils has risen as well.

The new price of diesel starting today is MVR 13.04per liter and MVR 12.98 per liter for petrol, starting today. The previous price of diesel was MVR 11.84 while the price of petrol was MVR 11.16.

The fuel prices sold by Fuel Supplies Maldives (FSM) were MVR 12.44 per liter and MVR 12.06 per liter for petrol, starting today when they raised prices on 21 January 2022.

STO brought changes to the fuel prices in October 2021 as well.
