The total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the Maldives has risen to 276 after another person has passed away.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that today at 06:17 pm a 95-year-old Maldivian male brought to HMF was declared dead.
This is the 276th COVID-19 death in the Maldives
With this most recent death today, a total of 258 locals and 18 foreigners has passed away so far. The highest reported COVID deaths on a single day in the Maldives has been on 25 May 2021 where 13 deaths were reported.
The first COVID-related reported in the country was reported on 29 April 2020 following the death of an 83-year-old local woman.
