Taking the driving test and practice driving for the test have been moved to Hulhumale'.

The testing and the practice driving were previously taking place in Male' City at the Industrial Zone. However, a large portion of the Industrial Zone have been closed off for a bridge projects.

And so,. The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation ordered the Male' City Council to develop a driving track next to the empty plot next to the MPL Port on Fithuroanu Magu in Hulhumale'.

Male' City Council said that 90 percent of the driving track in Hulhumale' has been completed. And the remaining works at the area are the development of toilets and a waiting area.
