A large fire incident has taken place at the former flu clinic developed behind the Hiyaa Flats at Hulhumale' Phase 2.

MNDF Fire and Rescue Service said that the fire incident was reported at 2:47 p.m. this afternoon and the fire was completely controlled by 3:08 p.m.

While no one was injured in the fire, MNDF said that the building sustained heavy damage.

The building previously used as a campaign hall by PPM was converted in to a flu clinic during the second wave of COVID-19 in the country. However, the place is now an infamous drug den.
