A sample collection center for COVID-19 testing has been established at the Hiyaa flats area marking the first such center in the Phase 2 of Hulhumale'.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that the collection center opened near Tower will be providing service from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. starting today.

Following the regulation set on 9 January 2022 that requires everyone travel from Male' City to have a negative PCR test, the sample collection center on Male' City have been crowded. However, new sample collection centers are now being opened for easier access to COVID-19 testing.

And so, the sample collection centers at Male' Henveiru Stadium and Hulhumale' Phase 2 are operating from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. while the Vilimale' Flu Clinic is operating from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p m. and the Hulhumale' Ruggandu collection center operates from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on weekdays and 3 p.m to 6 p.m. on Fridays along with the Male' Social Center sample collection operates from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on weekdays and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays.
