Minister of Arts, Culture and Heritage, Yumna Maumoon has tested positive for COVID-19.

Taking to Twitter this morning, Minister Yumna confirmed that she has tested positive and that she is isolating herself at home. She said that she has a fever, sore throat and body pain. She further said that she is worried for her parents and everyone must do their part to prevent the virus from reaching the elderly, the children and people at higher risk.

While the Minister of Arts, Culture and Heritage has tested positive for COVID-19, yesterday, the President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih confirmed that he had tested positive and is in quarantine.
