State Trading Organization (STO) has raised the price of petrol and diesel again.

The company said that the fuel price has risen higher in the international market than it has in the past seven years. And so, changes have been made to the price of fuel being sold by Fuel Supplies Maldives (FSM).

The new price of diesel starting today is MVR 12.44 per liter and MVR 12.06 per liter for petrol, starting today. The previous price of diesel was MVR 11.84 while the price of petrol was MVR 11.16.

The last time STO brought changes to the fuel prices were in October where they raised prices due to changes in the global market.
