70 percent of Thulhaadhoo Shore Protection Project completed

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that an overall 70 percent of the Shore Protection Project on Baa Atoll Thulhaadhoo have been completed.

Taking to Twitter this morning, MTCC said that the project is well underway worth the backfilling and bed preparation works completed.

The project entails leveling with 11,700 cubic meters of sand, bed preparation and 280 meters of geo bag revetment.

The design and build project contracted to MTCC on 29 March 2021 is valued at MVR 10.13 million.
