Cable damage causes power outage at Hiyaa Flats

Damages to a cable has caused a power outage at the Hiyaa Flats in Hulhumale' Phase 2.

State Electric Company (STELCO) today said that the cable in question was damaged while digging and they are working to restore power as soon as possible.

The STELCO media official told ONE Online that the digging was not being done by STELCO and the power can be restored within three hours.

There has been no comment do far from the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) regarding the situation.

Attempts to call the HDC Media Official was met with a message asking to text message to get information. However, there have been no reply so far.
