Another 140 people have recovered in the past 24 hours raising the total number of recoveries to 94,404.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 140 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 94,404 another 3,825 people still in treatment including 21 people in hospitals.
In the same time frame, 192 people tested positive in the Male' area along with 165 from the atolls and 74 from the resorts.
There have been 264 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 247 locals, 17 foreign nationals. Maldives reported its first COVID-19 related death on 29 April 2020 following the death of an 83-year-old woman.
